"Les Voyageurs" by Bruno Catalano

Temporary open-air exhibition of the famous Italian-French sculptor

I Viaggiatori di Bruno Catalano

“Les Voyageurs” by Bruno Catalano arrive in Caorle for a temporary exhibition

From April 28 to October 30, 2026, the town of Caorle will host two monumental works by the renowned Italian-French sculptor Bruno Catalano.

Caorle welcomes the evocative art of Bruno Catalano in a temporary exhibition featuring two iconic works from the Les Voyageurs series: “Hubert” and “Khadine”, installed along Lungomare Petronia.

Cast in bronze, the sculptures depict suspended, incomplete human figures, marked by the absence of their central body parts. This powerful visual language reflects universal themes such as travel, migration, and the search for identity. The suitcase carried by each figure becomes a symbol of departure, transformation, and memory.

Born in Morocco in 1960, Catalano lives and works between France and Italy. His personal experience of displacement and change has deeply shaped an artistic practice now recognized internationally, with works held in major public and private collections.

The installations will be located along Lungomare Petronia, just a short walk from Piazza Vescovado and the evocative Scogliera Viva, creating a direct dialogue between contemporary art and the seaside landscape.

The exhibition will open on April 28 at 7:30 PM.

The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Caorle in collaboration with Galleria Ravagnan, the artist’s exclusive representative in Italy.
