"Burning" the Bell Tower

When: the second Saturday and second Sunday of July*

Every year, on the second Saturday and second Sunday of the month of July, the Procession of the Virgin of the Angel takes place and covers the historic town centre on foot (not to be confused with the Sea Procession taking place every five years in September). At the end, in Piazza Vescovado, there is the so-called Burning of the Bell Tower, a highly suggestive lights festival.
